Look at what 👳🏻‍♂️ whipped up for dinner today! 🤗🤗🤗

Wagyu beef don, with garlic chips, onsen egg, garnished with spring onions, furikake and drizzled with truffle oil atop Japanese rice!

👳🏻‍♂️ was hit with a wave of cook-spiration after last night 😛

Went late night shopping on Sunday night at 3am, of course at the newly open Dondondonki! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

How could I not visit one of my favourite 24h Japanese supermarket now that it’s open in Singapore!

Decided to go at 3am to avoid the crowd. Good choice cos there was much less people, but the shelves and racks were sooo empty already 😰

We got most of the Japanese stuff from Donki!

Didn’t contribute much to the preparation, all I contributed was my mouth and my stomach to eat 😂 Am I a lucky girl or what 😊


If you haven’t yet visited Donki at Orchard Central, I heard that it’s crazy crowded in the day time, so be like me and visit in the middle of the night 🤗

Warning though, apparently the racks and shelves are only restocked in the morning (after 4am) so I’d think that early morning (on a weekday) is the best time to visit Donki!

FYI guys, it’s just 26 more days to the end of 2017 😱😱😱

How scary is that?

Last month with less than four weeks to go, and then it will be 2018 and starting a new year all over again.

This year has been a rather rocky period, and I kind of feel like I neglected taking care of myself better, because I had so many excuses and reasons not to.

I’m trying to at least cross over into 2018 healthily so that’s what I intend to do for the next four weeks and following days leading up to CNY!

I’ve started working out again after a two month hiatus, and I’m also cutting down on the late night sinful suppers and carbs.

Hopefully can last.

👳🏻‍♂️ likes to cook and I like to eat. What a bad combination 😫 But he’s been getting a little tubby too so I’m trying to go for healthier food options recently!

Instead of all my favourite prata and Indian rojak suppers (@reeniepoh @xiesimin still can go but Imma try not to eat HAHAHAHA), 👳🏻‍♂️ marinated me a bunch of chickens so they are on standby to be air-fried any time I’m hungry!

This one is honey soy garlic marinated and it tastes really good despite being so fuss-free to prepare! The air fryer is quite an amazing kitchen appliance!

Just trying to make a conscious effort to eat slightly cleaner and not overeat or binge eat especially when I really don’t need the calories (suppers for instance, those are the worst 😫)

Always struggling with a healthy lifestyle lol, that’s me.

Booked my PT sesh at Phillip Wain tomorrow and I can’t wait to work out! My first session last week after two months of hiatus was horrid and I felt so lousy afterwards!

My fitness level really took a hit after the long break and even my PT trainer commented on it. 😭

I need to work harder to get into shape and become stronger!! Why does this seem so effortless for some people but such an uphill task for me? 😔 Halpppss. I know there is no magic pill for losing weight/getting fit but I wish I had iron motivation and discipline to channel into my efforts instead of a greedy stomach with will-power that crumbles whenever I see food in front of me 😅

I’m also flying to Seoul in six days time, and I don’t wanna just go crazy eating while I’m there and only regret it when I realise I can’t fit into my clothes anymore! 😰

Definitely not gonna resist my Korean BBQ, but will try to get a hold on myself in regards to everything else, especially the street food (my egg bread 😭). Life is so tough when you can’t eat everything you want.

Will do my best to be a good girl for the next six days before I fly off! 🙏
