Today was a busy day!
Rushed about town with Evonne for various meetings and appointments, and in between, we found some time to pop by Alice and Olivia’s press preview of the upcoming Fall’14 collection at ION Orchard! I was initially so busy that I was reluctant to go, but once we were there, we spent the better part of an hour as excited as kids in a candy store!
We had a lot of fun browsing through the new collection and trying on our favourite pieces: many of them are just gorgeous! Inspired from the fairytales of our childhood, the collection is delightfully whimsical but still dark and feminine with fancy details from beautiful prints to interesting textures and intricate embellishments.
A couple of mirror selfies with le best blogger buddy!
I’ve always had a thing for whimsical fancies. As you may be able to tell from my own drawings and illustrations. I love quirkiness even though I can’t pull it off in my dressing all the time!
Loved this nicely put-together display.
What caught my eye straight away. SO pretty!
The embellishments on this dress were insanely detailed!
More quirkiness in the form of pointy stilettoes with little fur balls and graphic imagery. I was gushing over these shoes!
And I tried on and fell in love with this beautiful skirt (Price: $1,200, guess I won’t be getting it any time soon).. I love the weighted heavy fabric and striking prints. Just gorgeous!!
What we brought home from the press preview, a thoughtfully put together package with a super cute A + O top along with a hand-drawn thank you card and a pretty little bouquet of flowers.
Thanks for having us there, ladies!

Second last stop for the afternoon: Steve Madden at ION Orchard B2 for a spot of shoe shopping! And both Evonne and I picked out the same pair but in different colours.. I love these strappy nude heels! Can’t wait for the Steve Madden Demolition Party this Friday!
It’s been a hectic week! Telling myself to pull through and keep going. I can do it! 😀
