Day 4: Off to Nami Island & Hongdae!

Dear Dayre,

Sorry I'm so behind schedule! It's pretty hard to update daily! And I'll get to replying all the comments too 😭

Anyway, I'm just gonna do a quick catch up before I fall behind by too many days.. We went to Nami Island on Tuesday! #yinagoestoseoul

Nami island is the place where Winter Sonata was filmed. It's a super popular tourist spot but requires 1.5h of driving from the city!

On the car to Nami Island. We hired a big limousine car and driver to bring us and the istudio team to Nami Island! Cost like $250,000 for 8 hours rental if I remember rightly.

More selfies with my selfie camera. I do miss using my Olympus but the Samsung Nx Mini is undeniably convenient for taking selfies!

The first thing we saw when we arrived at Nami Island: super cute and hyperactive squirrels! They are mostly in pairs and chasing each other about with their bushy tails quivering in the air!

SO CUTE RIGHT??

We spent some time filming and I can't wait to see Istudio work their magic.. 😍😍😍 Feels like I'm acting in my very own K-drama wahaha!

The beautiful tall trees of the Metasequoia path where Winter Sonata was filmed 😍

Lots of pretty and scenic spots on Nami Island..

πŸ’“πŸ’“πŸ’“ I love this shot! We were taking a video of us spinning and it was so fun πŸ˜‚

Maxi dress from HnM, denim jacket from Topshop!

We left Nami Island around 5pm to head back to the city!

A selfie with the Istudio team. They are really fun to work with and I cannot wait to see Istudio's finished product! 😍😍😍 I'm so glad we decided to go ahead with the pre-wed videography cos what Istudio has done so far looks simply amazing.

Treated the team to super yummy BBQ dinner right downstairs their guesthouse.. I need more Korean BBQ in my tummy!!

Om nom nom.

☺️☺️

After dinner, off we went to Hongdae, famous for their night scene and street musicians! It's not my first time in Hongdae but I enjoyed it still. I love listening to the street musicians, many of whom are really talented and put up a great show!

My favourite!

Egg bread 😍😍😍

Lots of fun with the Istudio team!

Bought cheap spectacles off the street stalls for 10,000 won each πŸ™ˆ

Fried chicken and beer at Hongdae.. Also known as Chimec! I was sooooooo full after dinner I couldn't hardly stomach more than a couple pieces.

Crazy hair at the end of the night πŸ˜‚ Doesn't look half bad I think?

Update my other days very soon!
