Dear Dayre,

This is to tell you that bus stop billboard advertisements really work. So I took a bus today and when I alighted, I saw this huge advertisement for Cadbury's new LIMITED EDITION (!!!) Dairy Milk with Oreo chocolate bar.

什么??!!! Chocolate with Oreo?! 我要!!

Walked into the nearest 7-11 and tadaaaaahhhhhh!!!!!

🍫🍫🍫 What diet.

Three squares of this = 85 kcals

This means that last night's 12.45am Insanity workout has been negated some by my six greedy squares of chocolate. (6 squares = 170 kcal, almost 1/2 of the calories I burnt during last night's workout 😖)

To make up for it, I had yong tau foo for lunch. 😅 Ok lah, it's worth it! Lol.

My appetite has been monster these few days. Need. To. Maintain.

It's a special Saturday. Cos I'm meeting @evonnz @lianmeiting @evepek with all our ah laos for a special night out!!!

We are gonna have dinner and then we're going to play games.

What kind of game, you ask?

We are going to play REAL LIFE ESCAPE GAME.

"Real Escape Game originates from Japan and is a game translated from virtual (online games) to reality. This game requires you and your team to solve mysteries and clues within a time limit to escape from a room.

The concept allows for participants to feel like they are characters in a video game or movie. The uniqueness is that you are actually physically inside the story. When you read books, you can imagine. When you play online, you can be drawn in, but you are not physically in the story. In this game you can enjoy it both physically and realistically."

When Eve first suggested playing real life escape game, all of us were quite worried and humji.

Lololol sorry "Ah Zhuan" is YZ cos I'm using my mummy's phone and his contact is saved under the name "Ah Zhuan" in the phone 😂

This is going to be a test of wits and IQ tonight. Stressful 😱

希望我们今晚不会太过丢脸 🙈

Just finished dinner and we are here at Purvis Street waiting to start our adventure!

Apparently the failure rate is about 40%. Fastest timing is 30 minutes.

🔐 WE DID IT!!!

Looks like we are neither very smart nor very stupid. It took us about an hour to successfully complete our "escape"!

Not without help from the staff though. 🙈 Okay guess we weren't that smart after all. Geez, the very first puzzle had us at it for almost 20 minutes! Not gonna elaborate too much cos that would be a spoiler.

Overall verdict: it was pretty fun but I recommend smaller groups of around 4 pax for a better playing experience!

Backtracking to dinner earlier at Jing Hua Restaurant, they have got really nice red bean pancake and also guo tie!

Recommended by @lianmeiting who was so super excited when her favourite dishes all started arriving on the table.

The guo tie is pan-fried so it has a crispy skin and juicy filling!

Really ate too much today and we're not done yet. Heading for drinks and supper at St James now!

Most happening Saturday night I've ever had in a damn long time.
