Dear Dayre,

Backtracking to Friday because I haven't been updating regularly the past few days. So what did I do on Friday?

Meet @evonnz and @trishaliang for lunch all the way at Great World City, cos those two stay in the west and also they wanted to go to GWC to check out MT tapes 😒 Ok lor make me travel all the way to GWC!

Our lunch was pretty good! We had Skinny Pizza. I quite like their pizzas and Evonne had her very nice pasta too!

We also ordered truffle fries and sweet potato fries which were quite okay too. Actually I'm not very picky about food lah.

And since I was already with Evonne.. I decided to go down with her to Westgate to attend Benefit's new boutique opening.. Which I sort of regretted afterwards 😭

I guess I wasn't really in the mood for mingling and PR-ing that day, so I got restless after awhile. I don't know, sometimes it can be very tiring to attend events lah 😔 I can be abit anti-social one.

Then I wanted to leave by 4.30pm so that I could get a non-peak hour cab back home, which would be the fastest and most convenient way to get back, but we only managed to leave at 5 plus which would mean massive traffic on roads and MRT both arghhhh. That's why I hate going West so much 😭😭😭

I used to work at NTU for almost two years and spent 3 hours a day just travelling back and forth! I don't know how I even used to do it.

So anyway Evonne drove me to her house cos we thought it'd be easiest to get a cab from there, but the roads were starting to get crowded already with no sign of cabs 😭 My worst nightmare!

In the end, I hitched a ride with Evonne all the way to Mohammed Sultan road where she had a dinner appointment and very luckily got a cab immediately.

Got home in less than $20 thankfully though the entire trip back probably took me more than an hour.

I swear I am never travelling west again and leaving any later than 4pm. It's a nightmare! I really hate getting stuck in traffic or wasting time that could otherwise be spent productively or even lazing around. Anything is better than being stuck in a jam. It makes me super grumpy! 💥🔫

And then I insanity-ed, had the best home cooked steamboat ever and had a peaceful end to the frustrating evening. 💪

Honestly though, I've been feeling quite down recently cos I haven't been seeing any visible changes after almost three weeks of working out 😔 Diet also has been quite poor lately, what with eating out and dinners and what not. Doesn't help that I'm gonna be overseas twice in the next two weeks sigh.

I'm feeling so crap about how I look 😭 How I wish I was naturally skinny.

And I'm also wondering what if the regular workouts actually make me gain muscle only and make me look bulkier and bigger! 😰

Honestly I think it's not supposed to happen, cos girls have less testosterone and we aren't able to build up that much muscle mass, but then again I'm still a tiny bit worried. Cos I don't feel any leaner or skinnier yet! Eat so much somemore (I suspect PMS-ing)

Gotta get a grip and shake myself out of the doldrums!!
