Vintage Picnic with Jess and Mel!

HELLO!!!

I’M BACK FROM HONGKONG!!! ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ˜€ You would have seen some updates if you follow me on Instagram and Dayre… But I’ll definitely share more on my blog soon!! ๐Ÿ™‚

Anyways, I just wanted to share some long overdue pictures from a photoshoot a few months ago with Jess and Mel.. It was something that was done totally on impulse! D:

Cos Jess has already blogged all about the how, when and why on her blog, I’m just gonna show pretty and nice photos. Hehe. Cos I helped to edit the photos! ๐Ÿ˜€

The whole set-up of the photoshoot was based on a 50s-70s vintage picnic look, thus our very interesting vintage outfits, loaned to us by DustBunny Vintage! They bring in real vintage pieces sourced from all over that are one-piece only and all gorgeous and unique. Those accessories (the flower baskets) were provided by DustBunny Vintage too!

I can’t help but to rave about the props and styling done by MerryLove Weddings, as you may already know, they’ll be styling my wedding next year and I couldn’t be more excited about it! The wonderful Suying came out with many ideas for us, and a few different mood boards and themes for us to choose from. The end results were even more breath-taking than how I’d imagined the set-up to be like!!

Beautiful fresh flowers for a picnic

Cups and plates in a weaved basket, and yes, edible fruits!!

I loved every little nook and cranny of the setting, it was beautiful!

Fruit drinks and nutty snacks, yum! All edible one okay!

Vintage books and even a vintage camera, all sourced as props by MerryLove Weddings! They are really too meticulous!

The star of the day: Jess’s famous rainbow cake from Shiberty Bakes! I swear this is the most photogenic cake in the world.

We bought some pastries and sweets to accompany the cake too!

So Jess blogged a really amazing entry with behind-the-scene photos and everything and I think she’s such a good writer that I don’t want to write anymore! Just go and read Jess’s entry ok?

It’s the first time I’ve been styled in vintage fashion, and I think Marie did a really good job! With the side-swept curls, a huge flower in my hair, and extremely red lipstick. Hehe. Super in the mood with the makeup! Thank you Marie!!!
