ciao! woa, didn’t have time to update the past few days cos we had a super packed schedule with rehearsals, concerts and performances! pictures from day 3: there was time to wander about the city looking for new food places cos it was a free day! 😀 😀 😀 kind of overdosed on pasta though. the three main food groups of Italy are like, Pasta, Pizza and Gelato. hahaha. feels like that to me, at least. but i’m still enjoying all the food!
outfit: upcoming embroidered peter pan top and skirt on TheVelvetDolls! with my colorful loafers that got killed by a mountain (i will blog about that next time) and my weaved rainbow bag from Bimba & Lola.
more gelato loooveeee!!! Nocciola (hazel nut) and Yogurt flavour.
walking to our lunch place! we refer to this as the “flag street” cos lots of flags and banners hang across the streets in this section of the city.
went to a more contemporary restaurant, and it’s called “Eataly”. how apt! it’s like a grocery store with a restaurant inside!
getting our orders placed. most of the Italians know a little bit of English, so it’s not really that tough to order food. a lot of the restaurants have English menus as well! 🙂
and the obligatory bread basket. i have eaten more bread the past 6 days than i have in the past 6 months. but it’s really yummy and goes so well with the olive oil and balsamic vinegar!
shelves and shelves of food stuffs adorn the walls. they have a huge selection of everything from spices to jams to wines!
sauces all lined up prettily on the shelves.
me! good makeup day.
fusili pesto pasta that looks like super thick maggi mee, except green.
mozzarella and tomato pasta! yummers.
tagliatelle with vongole! one of my favouriteeee pastas this trip. been ordering it in almost every restaurant!
penne rabbit ragu. the sauce is tasty!
i love dining in groups. get to eat a little of everything! more pleasure for the tastebuds.
some of the other peeps had extra rehearsal in the hotel courtyard and here’s a shot of them from the third storey.
then we went to watch a concert performance by some other choirs!
the Estonian choir
and the Swiss choir.
singing on the streets to appreciative audiences.
and dinner! more pasta again. it’s the easiest thing to eat in Italy, other than pizza!
some pesto pasta that looked like little green worms D:
agnolotti bolognese pasta, it has meat filling in it, and it’s delicious!
gnocchi pasta in cream sauce. rarely found pasta in Singapore!
last picture of me and my outfit. in the hotel lobby! i like the lush and comfortable interior decor so much 😀
i’ll be returning to Singapore in just a few days time already! it feels like it’s only been 6 or 7 days, but today is already day 12. having a lot of fun, but i can’t wait to be home too! not so much looking forward to getting back to work though 🙁
gonna post up more photos tomorrow, but if you follow me on Instagram, i’ve been updating with some pictures everyday!! 😀 so go and look for me @yinagoh on Instagram okay!
be back soon!!! bye!
