hello! πŸ™‚

been back home for a few days already, and busy catching up with work work work! there’s always a thousand and one things to do, but i’m happy to be back home! πŸ˜€ and i can’t believe it, but i took like over a thousand pictures in Poland and i’m not about to upload/edit every single one… i honestly don’t know where/how to start with those pictures! :S way too manyyy. Poland was definitely a wonderful place to experience and visit, and i loved every minute spent there, with my choir and with my travel mates πŸ™‚

didn’t really mention so many details before i went jetting off, but i went to Poland on a choir trip, together with the SYC Ensemble Singers, to take part in the Mundus Cantat Sopot 7th International Choir Festival. and………. we won!!! the Grand Prix, along with topping the 2 categories we took part in! πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€ other than taking part in the competition, we also had a series of concerts and performances, singing in the local churches for Mass, and evening concerts. it’s been one of the more memorable trips with the choir, because we spent so much time singing singing and singing!

patriotism because we are singapore.

we sang in the shivering cold while up on an open air stage.. it was like 10 deg or something? i could barely sing without my teeth chattering! definitely a first.

there was this beautifully tame cat, owned by the priest of the church we sang in. he was so tame and loveableee!

a new friend from Brazil! πŸ™‚

it was so much fun! :))) i wish i could do a day-by-day detailed blog post for every day of the trip, but it would be terribly slow and tedious, and probably extremely boring for readers too. so i’m just gonna blog about various parts of the trip as and when i feel like it, lol.

Woon bought me a pinhole lens for my camera, and i had tons of fun taking pictures with it during the trip! so i’ll start by sharing those pictures first, heh. i love the pinhole effect very much, with its dreamy quality and vignette! the pictures are so gorgeous!

i really like the wide angles from the pinhole lens!

i promise to blog more detailed entries about the trip soon!! :)))

and please do not worry if you’re still waiting for a reply to your email, we’re halfway through all the emails and i endeavour to clear them all before the weekend is over! hoping to launch a new collection Sunday/Monday night too, fingers crossed πŸ™‚
