Guide to DIY Brow Shaping!

here's my little secret: i am absolutely obsessed with eyebrows, and i think having nicely shaped and groomed brows is an essential part of personal grooming for us ladies, and even for guys! lol, sometimes i go around and force my friends to let me tweeze/shape their eyebrows for them, i think i'm quite a terror. HAHAHA.

since i'm so hardcore about them eyebrows, here's my little guide to D-I-Y brow shaping! save all that money you spend to get your brows done outside every month, i haven't been to do my brows for maybe a year already! or you could probably go every few months just to get the shape there, and then maintain your brows yourself by tweezing them every once in a while, it's really not that difficult once you get the hang of it!

:D enough talk. LET'S GET DOWN TO IT!

there are some rules to the basic eyebrow shape and it's easy enough!
1. take a pencil and line it up from the side of your nose straight up to your eyebrow, this is where your eyebrow should start.
2. take pencil from the side of your nose and align it across your pupil, this is where the arch of the eyebrow should be.
3. lastly, take your pencil from the side of your nose again across the outer corner of your eye and this is where your eyebrow should end.

my preference is for thick, natural brows, somewhat like the Korean-esque looking sort you see on all the actresses singers, i really like! don't like brows that are too thin, too arched or too dark/fierce. here's what i do to achieve the sort of brow shape i want, groomed but still natural! :D

TADAAH! how my brows look like after i'm done tweezing/shaping them. as you can see, the shape is pretty much there, but my brows are rather sparse in front, and i actually like them to be slightly thicker!

oh one of my pet peeves is also seeing girls who look like they used a charcoal stick to draw in their brows, brows are way too heavily drawn on with a black eyebrow pencil D: D: D: PLEASE DO NOT! what you really don't want is for your brows to be the first thing people stare at when they look at you.

always look for the right shade when choosing your brow products, which is 1-2 tones lighter than your hair color. most of us don't have jet black hair, so please don't use black brow pencil, it is just scary D:

AAAAND. that's the end of my rather simple guide to DIY brows! do leave a comment if you found it helpful, or if you have any questions or points you wanna clarify! :D i hope it was of some help!!
