Make Up Store Summer 2012!

Evonnz asked me along for Make Up Store's Summer 2012 press event last week, and we were pleasantly surprised with the way the coral and beach-inspired theme was so magically brought out during the press event, held at 1-TwentySix restaurant situated at Big Splash, East Coast Park!

a lot of pains were taken to style the event in line with the oceanic theme, and I really like the vibrant and rich colors released in this Coral collection!
top left: served with an array of hors d'oeuvres and finger food! nom nom. an event is always made better with good food, hehe.
top right: one of the two gorgeous models showing off her look created with the Summer 2012 products!
bottom left: life make-up demonstration of a "Romantic" look, done by the Make Up Store's top Indonesian make-up artist!
bottom right: Sara (aka icyabstract) trying out the new message oil candle that has an absolutely yummy chocolate scent!
one of the MUA also tried the two new eyeliner colors on my eyes, and created a really vibrant pop look! so nice! i must try to replicate it at home some day!
the two models for the event were super super super super super chio can?? i especially love the lady in White, she is SOOO gorgeous (and skinny. jealous much!) i couldn't stop staring at her! love the way the eyeshadows were used on her lids to create a striking landscape of oceanic colors!
some swatches of the new products: on the left are the eye pencils, and on the right are the eye shadows.
with the two pretty girls, Evonne and Sara! :D hey, we all have similar hair colors! (not anymore now though, hohoho)
thank you, Make Up Store! brought home these products to try for my very own! the spa soap in mixed fruits smells SUPER awesome. i'm looking forward to trying the lipstick and blusher, too!

my outfit for the event: a super duper flattering bodycon bustier dress in Electric Blue that's appearing in the next collection! matched with the Yellow Cambridge Satchel 14", and my new Steve Mads :D i hardly wear bodycon dresses, unless they are really forgiving on the figure hehe too much fats :X this one is awesome!
and another outfit matched with the Yellow Cambridge Satchel 14" cos some readers have been asking about which size i prefer and all that. i actually prefer the size of the 13" one more, but the 14" one can definitely fit more stuff in. sooo... it's a draw! i like both sizes! :D

Argyle-patterned knit cardigan in Orange also from TheVelvetDolls, worn with denim shorts and my favorite favorite pair of hearts cut-off stockings from Risque! i have like 3 pairs of it so just in case i accidentally tear a pair, i still have backups! :X yes, i love them that much. so adorable and also black stockings always make the legs look slimmer which is good :P

anyways, i think some of you have already spotted my new hair style on Instagram! I am SO delighted with the new hair, and i love it super much!!! :D :D :D so.. just one instagram-ed photo for now! snipped off like maybe 5 or 6 inches, and freshened up with a new hair color!

gosh, it's crazy pouring away now, what a way to end a nice long Easter weekend! :( had intended to do a photoshoot outdoors initially, but i guess the rain is gonna foil any plans for an outdoor shoot! :(

nonetheless, i had a pretty good Easter weekend so far, haha. ignoring the emails for 2 whole days until reality comes crashing down on me tomorrow! oh and i did something very exciting HAHAHA. not going to say what first. but i think some of my friends know what i'm talking about! ok gonna keep you in suspense until further notice.

will blog with more pictures of my damn nice hair next entry! :D WOOHOO.
