best prawn noodle soup in singapore

i first tried this when boss Ming and the nuffies brought me over (cos it's near nuffnang's office!) and have been back twice ever since to eat it, even though it's no where near my place!!!

the first time i went with YZ, we reached there at 2 plus close to 3, and almost didnt get our noodles because they were almost out of soup!
D: D: D: D:
we managed to squeeze two last bowls from the uncle in the end though!!! hohoho. if not we would have made a wasted trip down!!

word of advice: the early bird catches the worm.

went earlier with YZ and Gina the 2nd time,
we went there at about 1pm and the queue was long and bustling!

we drove all the way down!

and here we are! :D

we ordered the $8 bowl, and it looks like this :D

huge fresh and succulent prawns!

yummy noodles too.

spread!

i love the super tasty soup and huge prawns.
the uncle has been cooking prawn noodles there for like the past 5 decades or something!

the chicken rice next door had a really long queue too,
so we had to try it as well.. the chicken was really good! and the rice is not the oily sort, it's quite dry but still fragrant :D

here's Gina posing with all the fooooood.

sugarcane with lemon from the neighbouring stall. very refreshing as well!
dont buy the fruit juice from the stall opposite. i ordered some juice from there and it was so diluted and tasteless ):

  1. haha i stay right opposite the prawn mee! anyway the reason why the queue is so long at the stall next door is coz of the duck rice(their chilli is da bomb)!=)

  7. @Yina hahahaha but i think you would want to punch me coz i hardly eat the prawn mee. like maybe once a year? =b there's loads of other nice food around like the carrot cake at the end of the row(same row as prawn mee) and the hokkien mee at the row behind (nearer to the wet market)!
